The Academy of Excellence in Customer Care is a service available to you, at no direct cost, to help develop the skills of your existing staff, and those available to recruit, ensuring that you not only attract but also retain your customers.

How can we help you to improve the skills of your current team?

The Academy of Excellence in Customer Care will support any tourism related businesses including the retail, hotel arts/cultural and leisure sectors, based in Liverpool City Centre, to develop the customer care skills of their current team by providing:

  • The services of a team of well qualified, experienced staff. In particular a dedicated Customer Care Consultant will provide advice and practical support on a continuous cycle
  • Support to implement the Professional Customer Care Programme, specifially designed to meet employer needs. This can be delivered internally or via an approved training provider
  • Accessible and flexible training resources and materials are available on loan free of charge, including books,videos, training manuals and CD Roms.   • Formal recognition and reward to those staff who provide excellent service through the annual Academy Ambassador Awards
  • An opportunity to network and exchange best practice through the Academy working group
